God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything

Well said, one of Christophers best in my opinion. Sure the guys an a55 hole but, thats his perrogative right- it doesn’t lessen his arguement in anyway. It makes him less effective as an activist but I don’t think he really wants to play that role anyway. Christopher is quite happy writing his books and debatiing, simply because he enjoys doing so. He doesn’t really seem invested in any actual change. In fact in one documentary he says, much to the dismay of Dawkins and Dennet, that he would be sad if the debate was over and religion no longer existed. He says he thinks we gain a lot from the debates we have over it and that would be lost. I agree in a way, as long as we could get it out of our government and schools, as long as attheist are not discriminated against, as long as we stop letting people do detrimental things to their children in the name of religion- then let peple believe what ever they like.
