What we can see with our sense organs is extremely narrow band of what there is to see, and this is particularly so with the vision sense.

We can see a tiny narrow band of the electromagnetic spectrum, the rainbow. But the rainbow’s width is tiny compared to the vast expanse of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Is that a kind of symbol for how limited our understanding of the universe is, because after all we are evolved beings, who evolved to understand the interactions between medium sized objects moving at medium speeds.
